LGBT History Month, £1,200 Raised and Coach Information

1st Feb 2019

LGBT History Month scarf, we will again have a Rainbow Flag themed Dulwich Hamlet scarf on sale at next week’s home game against Welling United. The scarf features a new design and includes this season’s anniversary club crest. In addition, showing our support for LGBT History Month, our Trust logo will proudly display the colours of the Rainbow Flag.

All the profits from its sale will be split and donated to the Gay Football Supporters Network and Football v Homophobia.

200 scarves will be on sale on 9 February (cash-only) from the Mega-shed, which is now located next to the Mega-container club shop, one hour before kick-off (2pm) priced £10 each. There will be a maximum purchase of two per person and any remaining scarves will then be sold from the Mega-container at HT and FT (card payments will then be accepted).

We are unable to reserve scarves for any supporters who may not be able to attend next Saturdays game, so we would advise you to try to arrange for someone else to purchase one for you as we expect these to sell out on the day.

Christmas Party

Our Christmas party was held at Champion Hill and it was the first time many supporters got their first look at the newly decorated club bar. Thanks to all those who attened and helped raise funds for the club 12th Man Scheme and this year’s club charity partner Redthread.

In addition, thanks to the many local business, listed below, who donated prizes for our raffle and auction that helped us raise £1,200 that will be split 50/50 between Redthread and 12th Man.

Also thank you to Mike Urban, Tom Cullen and Scolly for providing the party tunes.

Coaches

The Supporters Trust are running a coach to tomorrow’s game at Concord Rangers and we still have a few places left for anyone who wishes to still travel. Prices are £15 adults and £10 concessions, to book a place please email info@dhst.org.uk.

We also hope to be running a coach to Torquay United on 23 February prices are adults £30 and concessions £24. With engineering works and expensive train tickets to Torquay that weekend, we hope that many supporters will take advantage and book a place with us on the supporters coach.

We have provisionally booked the coach to leave at 8am and tickets can be purchased at our next two home games (9 and 16 February) and on the supporters coach tomorrow.

As with all our coaches, we will only be able to confirm once we have reached 50% capacity.
