£1228.00 raised for the Alli Abdullahi appeal

24th Dec 2016

Following the injuries suffered by Peckham Town player Alli Abdullahi during their match against Stansfeld (Oxford & Bermondsey), we are pleased to announce that to date a total of £1228.00 has been raised following our appeal for donations to help Alli and his family as he recovers.

The Trust would like to thank the generosity of Dulwich Hamlet fans and all those that donated from the wider community.

The first batch of money we have received from GoFundMe has been transferred to Alli’s family.

Alli told us “I am healing very well thank you. My next check up is on the 9th of January 2017 when the surgeon will remove the Leonard buttons. However, the metal plates keeping my jaw together are a permanent feature. Hopefully, I will be able to update you more after then”.

“I would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes and the kind-hearted who made donations to support me and my family. I don’t have the word to express my gratitude.”

“Whilst this episode has been a very testing time for me and my family, I am happy to see that community support isn’t lost. The love and kindness I received from you all has made a huge impact in my life. Once again, my family and I are so appreciative for all that DHST has done for us, without forgetting Bryan Hall (Peckham Town Chairman/Founder), the whole of Peckham Town FC and the blessed people in the community. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
