AGM 2022 - Trust Board Election

AGM 2022 - Trust Board Election

30th Apr 2022

The Dulwich Hamlet Supporters’ Trust Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be taking place on Tuesday 28th June. The AGM is open to all Trust members, and everyone is encouraged to attend and take part.

Alongside reports and updates from the Trust, there will also be the announcement of the results of the election of new members to the Trust Board. The Board represents members and works with the club and community stakeholders to further our collective ambitions for the club. Its activities are wide-ranging; from governance and scrutiny of the Club, to delivering community initiatives, to volunteering to help out on matchdays. The Trust also designs, procures and sells the fantastic merchandise that you can buy from the Mega Container and online, with profits split between Trust and Club.

This year we are looking for five new Board members, and we very much encourage those eligible to stand for election. This is an incredibly exciting time for the Trust, with our Club shareholding now at over 33% - making us the only other people (in addition to the Chairman) with significant control or interest. To support our goals of being fan owned and run for generations to come we need people to get involved who have an interest in the running of the Club and who are dedicated to the long-term health of the Dulwich Hamlet.

The attached document sets out the processes by which you can stand, and all nominations must be in by midnight on Tuesday 24th May.

Please note: to be eligible to make a nomination, second a nomination, or to vote in this year's Trust elections you must be a member of the Trust or renew your membership (if it has expired). The cut off date for joining (or renewing if expired) and being able to vote in the election is 23:59 on the 21st June. If you have any further queries regarding this or your current membership status please contact us by emailing info@dhst.org.uk.

Joining the Board is an incredibly rewarding way of helping the club, and whatever your skills or experiences we would be delighted to have dedicated fans stepping forward at this crucial time.

If you would like any information about the Board, or would like to speak to any current Board members, please do email us at info@dhst.org.uk.

Please do consider putting yourself forward, and good luck to those that do so!

Many thanks,

Tim Scott
Chair, DHST
