Annual General Meeting and Election 2026
Gen Williams on 16th Apr 2026
We’re pleased to announce the date of this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM): 17 June 2026, taking place at Champion Hill’s clubhouse and online.
Our AGM is an opportunity for us to recap what we’ve been up to in the last year, talk about the Trust’s plans for the next 12 months, and answer our members’ questions.
It’s also where we announce the results of our board elections.
The Trust board is a group of Dulwich Hamlet supporters elected by you, our fellow supporters, and four members will be reaching the end of their current terms and standing down. If you want to run for election and get involved in the running of the Trust, now’s your chance!
Applications to run for election will be accepted until 23.59 on Wednesday 13 May, and voting will take place from Wednesday 20 May to Wednesday 10 June.
Requirements to run for election:
- over 16 years old
- a current, paid-up member of the Supporters’ Trust. (You can sign up here if you’re not already…)
- endorsement from two nominators - also over 16 and paid-up members of the Trust - to support your candidacy. Candidates and nominators must also have been members of the Trust in the previous year
- supply a personal statement (max 600 words) telling us a bit about yourself, what skills you'll bring to the trust and what you hope to accomplish. Please include the names of your endorsers with the statement.
- a photo of yourself (optional)
Board members need to be able to attend our monthly board meetings, and take a few turns throughout the season volunteering in the MegaContainer shop and Membership Shed at games.
If you're wondering…
Why do it?
Am I eligible?
Who are we looking for?
Is this for me?
To help answer those, read on!
Why?
If you want to get involved in the Trust, the most direct way to do that is to run for election to join the Trust board. As a board member you’ll have the opportunity to use your abilities and experience - and develop new skills! - to contribute to the Trust’s mission of being a responsive and practical voice for Dulwich Hamlet fans and supporting the long-term future of the club.
What will I do?
Board members are usually elected for a term of three years (or in the case of tie-breakers, occasionally a year.) You’ll get an insight into the day-to-day running of the football club, as we work closely with the Club management on a number of issues. We welcome people with a wide variety of skills - including website management, retail, law, governance, accounting and membership operations, comms/marketing, community organising/volunteering, and design among others.
If you can do any of these things - or have other skills you think we could use - we want you!
Who are you looking for?
It’s important to us to gather as wide and diverse representation and experience as possible on the board, to help us to be as effective, inclusive and dynamic as we can be. Most of all, we need people with energy and interest, whether they have any of the skills mentioned or not.
If you want to learn more about it, drop us an email or collar us at a game - we can always be found in the MC and/or Shed.
Am I eligible?
Yes, if you meet the conditions outlined above: aged 16+, and a paid-up member of the Trust this and last year. Get two fellow Trust members to nominate your candidacy, and submit your application when election nominations open.
How do I run for election?
Gather your two nominees, and fill out our nomination form. If you can’t gather physical signatures from your nominators on your form, they can alternatively send us an email or letter confirming they want to nominate you.
As part of your submission, you’ll need to write a short supporting statement (max 600 words), explaining who you are, why you want to running for election, what skills, knowledge and experience you think you can bring to the Trust Board, and your goals for the three years of your potential term on the Board. Please also submit a photo of yourself to go with your statement if possible.
