Bid for Dulwich Hamlet IWD Kits (via silent auction)

10th Mar 2017

Your Chance to own a piece of history

Dulwich Hamlet Football Club will once again be celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD) when we play Merstham FC at Champion Hill this Saturday, 11 March 2017 (kick off 15:00). The day is an opportunity to celebrate the contribution that women have made to Dulwich Hamlet FC and our local community.

Following on from an initial idea of Club Chairman Liam Hickey, working in partnership with the Dulwich Hamlet Supporters’ Trust, to commemorate the occasion the club have commissioned a special one-off purple kit in lieu of their famous pink and blue colours. After the game there is the opportunity for fans to bid for one of the match-worn one-off shirts, shorts and socks by entering a silent auction for the kit worn by a member of the starting XI on the day.

All the proceeds of the silent auction will go to IWD’s charity partners Catalyst and WAGGGS.

How the silent auction will work

The silent auction will be administered by Dulwich Hamlet Supporters Trust.

You will be asked to make one monetary bid (£) on three shirts numbers, with your first preferred number (1), second preferred number (2) and finally your third choice (3). Please note that you are bidding on shirts numbered 1 to 11 only, a bid on any other numbers will not be accepted.

If someone outbids you for your first choice, we will then include your second choice in the bidding. Finally, if you’re outbid with you first two choices we will include your third choice in the bidding.

If two or more bids are the same amount for one shirt number, the winning bid for that shirt number will be drawn at random.

Written bids can be submitted from Saturday 11 March 2017 between the hours 13:00 until 18:00. Bidding forms can be collected from the club bar and Supporters Trust shop during this time.

After this date bids will be required to be submitted via email until, and including, Sunday 19 March 2017. Please email your bids to merch@dhst.org.uk

To be accepted, all emails must include your full name, contact telephone number, your bid amount (£) and three shirt numbers in order of preference.

The winning bids will receive the playing shirt, shorts and socks and will be announced at the home game against Kingstonian on 20 March 2017 and published on both the Club and Trust websites.
