DHST accounts for 2015 published
9th Oct 2016
The Dulwich Hamlet Supporters’ Trust’s annual accounts for the year ended 31 December 2015 were submitted to the FCA in July of this year. They are now available here or on the FCA website.
The financial statements show that the Trust has made a profit of £9,863 in 2015, a fantastic 109% increase on the prior period. This performance was driven by an almost three-fold increase in match-day merchandise sales. This is testament to all the hard work put in by trust board members and other volunteers on match-day operations.
You will have noticed that we have made an investment in the Mega-Container during the year, with thanks to some significant donations and fund-raising by our fans . Our fantastic sales performance and residual profits will help in ensuring that the container is fully equipped to serve fans’ merchandising needs. The container was not fully finished by the year end, and so we hope to see an associated increase in sales through the first full year of the container being open.
100 club sales have increased through 2015, with £3,359 taken in ticket sales, and £1,344 paid out in prizes. A net balance of £2,015 has been accrued into the ring-fenced 100 club fund for future investment in the club. We encourage all our supporters to join the 100 club, with prizes currently standing at £64 and £38 each month. Contributing is as easy as filling in a short form, and you can make a meaningful contribution to the future of your club, whilst being in with a chance of winning each and every month.
The Trust also made contributions to the Intercity 125 fund during the year, with £1,149 being donated through sale of 125 related merchandise.
Our remaining net surplus for the year will be critical in ensuring that we have a solid foundation for the transition of the club into a fully fan owned club.
