Mega Container Opening

31st Mar 2016

Container_Opening

We are delighted to announce that the Mega Container will be open for business from 2pm on Saturday against Bognor Regis Town.

Many months of hard work have gone into converting it from an empty shipping container into our new Club shop. We still have some work to complete including electrics and painting of the outside (waiting for warmer and drier weather) which we hope to complete shortly but thanks to Trust Board member, Alex Crane and his team of volunteers we are in a position to start using it.

The previous Mega Shed had served us well but due to increasing attendances and demand for merchandise we decided that we needed to upgrade so we could offer an improved service and range of stock. The new shop will have all the usual merchandise including scarfs, hats and t-shirts alongside the return of our old programme stock which now has its own area.

A special mention to the following businesses and individuals who have helped either financially or by giving up their time or materials to help us get to this stage:

Joe Kensington, Gaird Wray, Toby Kempton, Paul Osman, Tim Crane, Andy Greig, Clare Keeble, Chris Gilbart, The family of Bevan Emerson, Andrew Travers, Bespoke Windows, TCL Electrical Supplies, DHST 2015/16 Board, Hadley Property Group, Dulwich Hamlet Football Club and finally all those who attended our Christmas party fundraiser in December 2015.

If you’re attending the match on Saturday we would love you to join us for the ceremonial ribbon cutting at 2pm or come and visit us at some point later during the day.
