DHST’s December 2014 Board meeting Minutes published
23rd Dec 2014
The DHST Board met on 15 December. The Minutes from the meeting are now available here.
After several years of service, Guy Grater has decided to step down from the Board with immediate effect. The Board thanked Guy for his fantastic work over the years, in particular, his work in leading the Mega Shed and promoting the Trust at several community fairs (e.g. the Lambeth Country Show). These two roles have helped increase attendances at Champion Hill and raised £1000s over the years that has benefited both the Trust and the club. Guy has agreed to continue to help with online sales and running the Trust stand at community events.
In other news, we:
– finalised plans for the “ask the expert” evening on fan ownership on 15 January – details to be published in the coming week or so;
– agreed to publish an interim statement on the Trust’s position on the proposed new ground, security of tenure and fan ownership; and
– discussed how the Trust could support the visit of Altona 93 to Dulwich Hamlet on 11 July and DHFC’s proposed pre-season tour to Hamburg in July 2018 to celebrate our joint 125th anniversaries.
Finally, we were delighted that Isaac Parnell has agreed to join the Board. Isaac is a qualified accountant, which is an extremely valuable addition to our skill set on the Board, and was something that we were particularly looking for.
