Programme Notes – Dulwich Hamlet v Oxford City, Saturday 9th April

13th Apr 2022

With a handful of games left, every point is crucial now – as is our support for the team as they make this final push for the play offs. Including today we only have three home games left this season, so let’s make it count!

Whilst at the game today make sure to enjoy the fantastic food and drink available around the ground, and also do take a trip over to our shop in the Mega Container for all of your Dulwich Hamlet essentials – including a few summery items to get us in the mood now the weather is starting to get a bit nicer.

It is an exciting month on and off the pitch for us, with the play off push on the one hand, plus ongoing community work and the start of our election process for the Trust Board on the other – see below for more details. As part of our community work, we were delighted last week to be able to help out at the Hamlet Women’s team’s match against the Trans Radio UK team, and I know that everyone who was there for the historic and important occasion will attest to how great a evening it was.

In uncertain times its important to help each other where we can, as well as find time to enjoy the football, so let’s make sure to do both today!

Board Election

The Supporters’ Trust represents members and fans, and works with the club to support our long-term aims and ambitions for Dulwich Hamlet. This June we will be holding our AGM, and at that time new members will be elected to the Trust Board to support this ongoing work.

The Board needs people with a range of skills and backgrounds who support the aims

of the Trust, and it is varied and rewarding – as well as vital to the health of our relationship with the club. This year we have a few slots open for people to stand for, and if you are considering whether or not this might be for you then please do drop us a line at info@dhst.org.uk or speak to a Board member on a match day – you can usually find one of us in the Mega Container.

Further details about the AGM and the Board elections will be with members very soon, but please do consider helping out if you can!

Merchandise

As always, the Mega Container has been very busy at our last few home games, but fear not we have replenished as much stock as we can with all of your favourite Dulwich Hamlet merch.

We offer a wide range of t-shirts, sweatshirts hoodies and hats for adults, junior and baby rabble fans. Many of you will have seen our new 80s palm tree t-shirt, in homage to promotion roundabout, and we have just extended the Omaggio range to include a stylish grey sweatshirt. We also have a varied range of scarves available to buy including this year's LGBTQ+ scarf which is raising money for Football v Homophobia and a spicy scarf in homage to our brilliant women's team.

We are pleased to also be stocking a book based on club legend Edgar Kail. Written by Dulwich fan Michael Wagg and Phil Earle, Edgar & Adolf is a fictional tale oftwo real-life footballing heroes Edgar Kail and Adolf Jager and their enduring friendship – pick up a copy at the Mega Container today! Remember, the shop is card-only, and is open before matches, at half-time and also after the final whistle at all home games for the men’s and women’s matches.

100 Club

The 100 club offers you a chance to help the club AND win cash prizes – what’s not to like? If you enter you are in with a chance to win a prize every single month, and all proceeds go directly into supporting our club.

We have now raised over £50,000 via the 100 Club, and recent prizes have reached nearly £200 for our lucky winner. You can get your tickets at dhst.org.uk/100-club/ or head to the Mega Container where you can pick up membership forms to sign up every month!
