On Thursday 13^th October we will be hosting the official launch event for “The Roaring Red Front”.

“The Roaring Red Front” is a new book by Stewart McGill and Vince Raison and published by Pitch Publishing which explores the burgeoning network of football clubs with a left wing, anti-fascist, and anti-racist football fanbase, what it means to be part of this, and why this relationship between football and politics is so important.

We’re proud to say that Dulwich Hamlet feature within this book, in the company of an incredible array of clubs such as FC St Pauli, Detroit City, Rayo Vallecano and Deportivo Palestino. 

The authors, Stewart McGill (a political activist, football fan, traveller and yours truly's old martial arts instructor) and Vince Raison (a Dulwich Hamlet fan, writer, and author of such classics as "Today South London, Tomorrow South London") have chosen to host this event in the Dulwich Hamlet clubhouse and we look forward to what should be a great night.

On the evening, Mark "Scolly" Scoltock will be hosting a Q&A session with Stewart and Vince, where you can find out all about the book and everything that went into it. This will be followed by DJ sets til late from Scolly and Tom Cullen. Expect a lot of ska.
