Dulwich Hamlet Football Club and Supporters’ Trust are excited to announce our new mascot scheme.
During these strange and challenging times, Champion Hill has been a bit different so far this season. No more so than the lack of one our favourite match day opportunities – player mascots.
Sadly, with the current safety restrictions, we are unable to have mascots for our home games.
Over the past few seasons, our very popular mascot scheme has seen children from across the borough lead the teams out onto the Champion Hill turf. Last season alone, over 200 children walked out with their heroes. This has always been something we have offered for free as we believe you cannot put a price on a child being involved in their local football club.
Therefore, we are delighted to announce our virtual mascot scheme.
Our virtual mascots will be celebrated, across our social media channels, in the run up to kick off and included (technology allowing) as part of our live streams.
All virtual mascots will be invited to send in a picture or short video showing their support for the teams. The more pink and blue, the better!
As an added bonus, we will be putting the names of all our virtual mascots into a special pre-Christmas draw. The winner will receive a 2020/21 home shirt, wrapped and delivered in time for Christmas.
We are now accepting bookings for all our Men’s and Women’s home games up until the end of January 2021. Virtual mascots could be celebrating a birthday, a special achievement or just want to be part of their local club. This opportunity is open to anyone under the age of 18.
