Volunteer with Dulwich Hamlet Supporter’s Trust

Can you spare a few hours on match days to help support the Club? Do you like meeting new people and getting stuck in? If so, Dulwich Hamlet needs you this season.

Dulwich Hamlet Supporters’ Trust is run by fans for fans. Over the course of the season, many hours of volunteering goes into making games happen - both behind the scenes and on match days. We have a great team of volunteers who say they have gained a new understanding of how the Club works, enjoy supporting their local community and feel like they get the most from match days by helping us out.

We’d love to grow our volunteer team and particularly need help in the following areas:

Mega Container Assistants

Alongside a Trust Board member, you will help to provide retail assistance to support with shop sales including handling a till, helping with customer queries and working in the stock room. The shop opens before the game and at halftime, with additional opening time after the game on Saturday’s match days.

50/50 Sellers

Helping the 50/50 lead, Dave, to sell tickets for the Club’s 50/50 raffle which sees half the proceeds going to the winner and the other half to the Club. You’ll help sell the tickets to fans around the ground and then count up the proceeds just before the draw is made.Tickets are sold on Saturday’s games before kick off until roughly half time.

Programme Selling

You’ll be supporting to sell as many programmes as possible through speaking with people in the ground.Programmes are sold before the game up until they sell out which is usually just after kick off. There won’t be programmes for our pre-season friendlies but a team of programme sellers is needed for all other match days.

Whether you can help at 3 games or 30 games, if any of the above roles appeal to you, we’d love to hear from you! Please contact volunteer@dhst.org.uk and Laura will be in touch to discuss further.

We also always need a hand behind the scenes so if you don’t have time to spare on match days but are interested in volunteering for the club in other ways or have any skills you’d like to bring to the table, we’d love to hear from you.
