I’ve always loved the DIY ethic of lower-league football, the personalities of the people you meet and the sense of community a local team brings.

Outside of football, I’ve been working in the design industry for the last thirteen years. In my role as a Director of User Experience I facilitate conversations, listening to clients and engaging their audiences to understand how to best solve their problems.

What made you want to join the board?

I'd been going to watch Dulwich Hamlet since the FA Trophy quarter final against Macclesfield and I wanted to find ways to use my time to help support the club in a more concerted way.

I ran for election in 2020 before running again in 2021 and was lucky enough to be able to join the board.

What has been the most difficult things you’ve found on the Board?

Being a board of volunteers there's often a balance to strike between realising our ambitions and being realistic with what we can achieve with our limited time and resources.

We're very fortunate to have so many great volunteers in and around the club that allow us to continue to focus on making the match day experience at Champion Hill the best it can be.

What have you found the most rewarding

Supporting our first EDI survey in 2022 was hugely rewarding. I believe that we can do so much more to diversify our fanbase and I'd love to see a crowd at Champion Hill that reflects the local area.

If you had to pick 5 players, past or present,
for a dream 5-a-side team, who would you pick?

Preston Edwards

Nathan Green

Ash Carew

Erhun Oztumer

Dipo Akinyemi

Why should someone get involved with the Trust?

For Dulwich Hamlet to continue to grow and act as a key part of the local community we need to listen to more voices and call upon on the skills we have available to us.

The Board is comprised of so many different talents and in my experience, you're often contributing in ways that you wouldn't suspect.

If you feel strongly, either positively or negatively about the way the club operates, the Trust is your opportunity to help make the change you want to see happen.
