Programme notes: Dulwich Hamlet Women vs Millwall Lionesses, 17 September 2023

Gen Williams on 22nd Sep 2023

Welcome back to Champion Hill! After their first win of the early season last week, the Hamlet Women are poised to take on local rivals Millwall today. It’s always a fierce battle between these two teams, as Millwall are a strong side, so our gang will need all your support today. If you want to sing along with the Pepper Army, songs and chants are in the online songbook: https://dhst.org.uk/songbook/.

Thank you to today’s volunteers, club staff and Trust board members for giving your time to keep matchdays safe and fun for everyone.

Merchandise

Replica kits are back, back, back! We’ve had a restock and you can now get this season’s kits in our online shop (dhst.org.uk/shop) or at the MegaContainer today. And as the weather’s finally cooling down, why not pick up a hat or this season’s Pride scarf too?

Community

Our foodbank for Albrighton Community Centre is a permanent fixture and we’re always thankful for donations. You’ll find drop points on the turnstiles, and if you’ve time to pop to Sainsburys after the game, you can donate at reception too – it really helps people keep their heads above water. Non-perishable goods, like cans and dry food, as well as essentials like feminine hygiene products, sealed toiletries and nappies, are always ideal.

100 Club

Are you a 100 Club member? Our lotto is an easy way to help the Trust raise funds to support the long-term future of Dulwich Hamlet while being in with a chance of winning a cash prize, with two winners every month. As the numbers grow, so do the winnings! It’s easy to join, and if you just want to dip your toe in first, you can also now buy one-off tickets for the next draw. Visit dhst.org.uk/100-club/.

Volunteering

We dearly need matchday volunteers! As a community club with limited resources, anything you can do – from selling programmes and helping with match day operations to working in the Mega Container – helps enormously. It’s also a fantastic way to get to know other volunteers and supporters and be part of the life of the Club, and volunteers go to the game free and get a merch discount. What’s not to love? Please email us at info@dhst.org.uk.

Join the Trust

If you’d like to help support our work and ongoing aim to secure the club’s long-term future in East Dulwich, why not join the Supporters’ Trust? You can sign up at the Trust Shed, or online at www.dhst.org.uk. It’s an annual £10 for adults, £5 concessions and £2 for under-18s.
