A reminder to attend ‘ask the experts’ evening on fan ownership: Thursday 15 January

14th Jan 2015

The DHST Board is very much looking forward to hosting an exciting evening at the Club tomorrow (Thursday) night. As advertised last week, we have invited a range of experts to share their knowledge and experience on the merits and practicalities of fan ownership, and answer your questions. We are looking forward to welcoming:

  • James Mathie – Club Development, Supporters Direct;
  • Paul Millington – Vice-Chair, Enfield Town FC;
  • Dan York – Club Secretary, Fisher FC;
  • Jo Collins, Legal Advisor & Assistant Secretary, Portsmouth Supporters Trust; and
  • Nigel Higgs – Former Youth and Community Director, AFC Wimbledon and current Board member, AFC Wimbledon Trust.

.

The event has featured in the Southwark News and has also been pugged by StandAMF, KentishFootball and BrixtonBuzz. The club has been fully supportive of the event, opening up the bar and featuring it on the official website. Feel free to share your views during, and after the event, on Twitter by using hashtag #dhfc and @dhstorg. If you have more detailed questions or points you would like to raise, then feel free to email the Board on info@dhst.org. Alternatively, speak to a member of the Board on the night or after the event.

.

The bar will be open from 6.30pm and the event itself will start promptly at 7.30pm. All Hamlet fans are encouraged to attend, and supporters of other clubs who may have an interest in fan ownership more broadly are also welcome.

.

There will also be a raffle (proceeds split between the 12th Man and the Trust). This will include:

– two pairs of free tickets and boardroom hospitality for the final match of the season against Maidstone United, which DHST is sponsoring;

– vouchers for the Mega Shed; and

– a bottle of malt whisky.

.

You will be able to join the Trust on the night, or at anytime here.
