As part of the events of the July 2023 'Freundschaft' weekend, Altona 93 visited Champion Hill to contest the Jager-Kail Cup. This was the third iteration of the contest and the fourth meeting between the two clubs, with the first being in 1925. Altona took the cup back to Hamburg after a 1-2 victory in front of 921 fans.
