DHST Accounts for 2013 published
5th Jan 2015
The Dulwich Hamlet Supporters’ Trust’s accounts for the year ended 31st December 2013 were submitted to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the autumn. They show that the Trust made a profit of £1,346 in the financial year, a turnaround from a loss of £769 in 2012 – indeed this was the first time the Trust had made a profit since 2007.
This was largely due to the fact that 2013 was the first full year of operation of the shop and online merchandising operation which, thanks to the efforts of Guy Grater in setting up and running, has been a great success. The profits from the shop are currently shared 50:50 with the Football Club. This, combined with other activity such as sponsorships, meant the Trust contributed £1,225 direct to the Club and also paid to advertise the fixtures and publicise the club generally in the local SE22 magazine.
The 100 Club also continues to be a success. Total contributions to the fund in 2013 were £3446, with £1403 paid out in prizes and £2043 being added to the Trust’s fund to invest in Dulwich Hamlet when appropriate. We encourage all supporters to join the 100 club. You can find out more and join here.
