DHST’s April 2015 Board meeting Minutes published
26th Apr 2015
The latest Board meeting of the Dulwich Hamlet Supporters’ Trust took place on 20 April. Full Minutes available here.
There was an excellent turnout of board members, with a full agenda, that kept everybody occupied for three hours and nearly resulted in the Secretary being locked in! Some of the main issues discussed include:
- a recent meeting between Hadley Property Group, the Trust and Southwark Council over the freehold / lease for the proposed new ground;
- a vision and governance model for a supporter owned club; and
- planning for the AGM, which will take place on 30 June.
Other forthcoming events in which the Trust will be involved, include the Dulwich Festival Fair (Goose Green) on 10 May and the Lambeth Country Show on 18 and 19 July. The idea behind this is to promote the club at these very popular community events and we have been successful in obtaining a grant for the second year running from the Southwark Council Neighbourhoods fund to do so.
A report was also discussed concerning a recently organised meeting by Supporters Direct at Enfield Town involving supporters of non-Football League clubs that are fan-owned or aiming for greater fan involvement in the running of their football clubs. The issue of ‘community shares’ was the major issues discussed. On a tour around the ground there was some concern that the DHST representative might be taking photographs of the tactics board in the home dressing room for use in any play-off battle. Would we dare?!
