Thanks to all the fans who attended the Trust’s “Ask the Experts – Fan Ownership” event on Thursday 15 January. It was an excellent turn out, underlining the passionate and committed support for Dulwich Hamlet. We had an impressive panel of speakers sharing their experience of fan ownership, from League clubs such as Portsmouth FC and AFC Wimbledon to non-league Enfield Town and Fisher FC. Although each club is unique, the key issues are the same – fan ownership protects crucial assets, such as the ground, from being used as a vehicle for profit, and ensures that a club is democratically and transparently run.

In the coming months, the Trust will be working with Supporters Direct and other clubs to develop our approach. Thanks to Hadley, Dulwich Hamlet is not a club in crisis, but in a fantastic position to achieve a long term, secure future. We look forward to working with them to make this a reality.
